Sister Wives star Maddie Brown announced Sunday that she is engaged to boyfriend Caleb Brush. Cue the wedding bells! But, what will the nuptials look like for the 19-year-old?
"We are making plans for a wonderful outdoor wedding, hopefully in the country," she told People.
Brown came to fame as the daughter of Sister Wives protagonists Kody Brown and his second wife, Janelle Brown. Unlike his fiancé, Brush, 28, has stayed out of the limelight with a career in mine equipment repair. When it came to the proposal, Brush kept it simple and intimate with a chilly ride on his ATV.
"It was cold and we were huddled in jackets and I thought he was crazy to stop," Maddie told People. "He said to come look over here. So I walked with him to the edge. He told me he could never express how much he loved me, but he wanted to spend his life trying, and went down in one knee and pulled out a box."
Inside the box was a blue diamond ring, bordered by smaller diamonds and enclosed by two round stones in the same style.
The TLC reality star wasted no time, posting a closeup shot of the rock to her Instagram account.
It's clear the couple has a strong bond. Maddie acknowledged their strong bond via Instagram just a few days earlier, posting this photo of the pair with the caption:
"Yes I know I post so much with him. I just like him a lot! #SorryNotSorry," she wrote.
But, will there be room for more than just one spouse in their future? The duo says: absolutely not.
"We are not living plural marriage," Brush told People. "We support Maddie's family with their choice of living plural marriage and they support us with our choice in just marrying each other."
