Lady Gaga, Wardrobe Malfunction

GEVA/AKM-GSI

We see London, we see France, we definitely see Lady Gaga's underpants.

The American Horror Story: Hotel star left very little to the imagination Thursday when she was seen strutting in a crimson red halter crop top and matching skirt slit reminiscent of Angelina Jolie's one-legged pose at the 2012 Oscars. However, the slit was cut so far up her leg that her nude underwear was very clearly on display.

The antithesis of shy, the pop icon kept her head and floor-length blonde locks held high. Gaga also wore a pair of clear platforms as she marched toward the set. Gaga plays The Countess of Hotel Cortez, who fans first saw in action Thursday when the season's first trailer debuted online.

In the quick clip, Gaga was seen in a flash frame wearing what appeared to be a very elaborate wedding gown, complete with a feathered train and a veil covering her face. Thanks to previous sightings on set, we're starting to notice a clear pattern in her character's enviable wardrobe: great lengths, rich fabrics, bold colors and a penchant for serpent and dragon-like medallions. It's utter perfection for a character who has been described by American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy as "consumed with art and fashion and people."

Indeed, for Thursday's two-piece look, Gaga had a metal dragon plate cinching her skirt together. Unfortunately, it couldn't completely hide the Grammy winner's barely-there underwear. Either way, Gaga didn't seem at all phased by the wardrobe malfunction. To be fair, it's not exactly an easy outfit to wear with a bra and underwear.

But, may we suggest some double-sided tape?

If there is one thing we can count on when it comes to Gaga, it is her confidence and body acceptance. After revealing her past struggles with an eating disorder in an interview with Harper's Bazaar, she has consistently shared photos of her commitment to fitness on her social media accounts.

Her efforts have not gone unnoticed. While we might be able to see her undies, she looks so phenomenal in them—and more importantly, she appears at ease in her own skin.

As for the rest of The Countess' wardrobe, we'll just have to sit and wait patiently for more lucky glimpses of what other outfits are in store for the sixth season, premiering Oct. 7 on FX.
