It's going to be a family reunion for Cookie Lyon on Empire. E! News has confirmed Vivica A. Fox will play sister to Taraji P. Henson in the upcoming second season of the hit Fox musical drama.

We've already met one of Cookie's sisters, Carol (Tasha Smith), but something tells us Fox's character may be trouble. EW reports Fox will appear in episode eight of the new season. Does she have an ear for music too? No other character details are being released at this time.

Fox joins an already impressive season two guest cast list that already includes Magic Mike's Adam Rodriguez as a new love interest for Cookie, Chris Rock as a prison inmate of Lucious Lyon's (Terrence Howard), Ludacris as a prison guard, Pitbull as himself and Marisa Tomei as Mimi Whiteman, a billionaire lesbian who gets involved with the Lyon family business. We'll also see Kelly Rowland in a flashback as Lucious' mama. Becky G, Lenny Kravitz, Alicia Keys and Mariah Carey are all likely appearing at some point this season. No word on the big O, Oprah Winfrey.

Fox's other credits include Sharknado 2, Kill Bill, Independence Day, Curb Your Enthusiasm, 1-800-Missing and Soul Food.

Empire season two premieres on Wednesday, Sept. 23 at 9 p.m. on Fox.
