Zac Efron's latest movie didn't quite bring EDM to the mainstream, but maybe Human Barbie can?!

Valeria Lukyanova, a Ukrainian model bearing a resemblance to the iconic doll, is embarking on a new career as a DJ!

According to a press release, Valeria's Space Barbie Tour kicks off in October and each and every show "will have a liberating effect on the human body." Even though the model-turned-DJ "claims being from a different planet," she's planning to keep her gigs on Earth, "visiting Latin America, the USA, China, Japan, Australia and several European countries."

Her shows, according to the release, will feature "futuristic deep house and space disco." Additionally, each performance "will be focused on a spiritual mission."

Human Barbie "will be using special words from ancient languages, which will result in a meditation right on the dance floor," states the press release. She will also "show special signs with her hands (also known as mudras)" and work with a set list that's "arranged in a way that touches all the energy centres while increasing the rhythm and changing the consciousness of the audience."

Well...the concept is a bit out there, for sure, but it's not the first time Valeria's gotten otherworldly on us. In a 2013 Vice documentary, she explained she came to earth "to help people to realize that it is necessary to move from the role of 'human consumer' to 'human demi-god.'"

Modeling her look after a much-idolized figure such as Barbie, she explained, makes the non-aliens more likely to listen to her message.

That said, Valeria later told Cosmopolitan.com she finds the Human Barbie nickname "a little degrading and insulting," even though she's "used to it by now."

"I have to comply with it because it's become part of my aesthetic image," she said, "but I don't like it."

Space Barbie makes much more sense.
