Instagram It may be the end of summer, but it's only the start of this romantic engagement!
Over Labor Day weekend, Julianne Hough and her fiancé Brooks Laich decided to throw a party in honor of their new relationship status. As you likely could have guessed, it was a pretty star-studded affair.
E! News can confirm Derek Hough, Masters of Sex star Teddy Sears and Lauren and Aaron Paul were just some of the close friends that rang in the engagement.
"Thank you to all you awesome folks who made last night a very special memory for @juleshough and I!" Brooks wrote on Instagram. "You are all a little south of sanity and we love you for it!"
In a post on her personal website, Julianne also described her "timeless, classic dress" that was made possible by her stylist Anita Patrickson.
"We both loved the shape of this dress," she wrote. "It felt very '90s Kate Moss—cool, sexy and edgy, yet simple and elegant."
The celebration comes just one week before Julianne gets back to work on Dancing With the Stars. The judge will remain busy critiquing the smooth moves of Paula Deen, Bindi Irwin, Kim Zolciak and other shakers.
As for her upcoming wedding celebration, the blond beauty isn't ready to start planning just yet.
"We're just enjoying our engagement," she told E! News. "I think right now, we're just enjoying that part. We really enjoy our stages. I think we enjoyed the dating stage and being engaged, so I think we like to enjoy each stage."
She added, "When I met him it was kind of like, Yeah, I knew and I think he knew too. We kind of knew it was going to happen."
