We're still reveling in excitement over the news that Dave Franco and Alison Brie are engaged… and, as expected, the Sleeping With Other People actress is, too!
Brie joined co-star Jason Sudeikis on Good Morning America Tuesday to chat about their upcoming film (hitting theaters Sept. 11), which centers on two New Yorkers who lost their virginity to each other in college. They reconnect 12 years later after running into one another at a 12-step program for love and sex addicts, but are determined to keep their relationship platonic.
But before they got to chatting about the film, of course host Lara Spencer couldn't help but ask about the exciting engagement news.
"Congratulations! I couldn't help but notice the sparkler," Spencer exclaims before Brie jokes, "Oh, thank you! This old thing?"
Spencer continues, "Recently engaged to actor Dave Franco? That's exciting!"
"Very exciting!" Brie responds with a huge smile.
E! News exclusively confirmed their engagement on Aug. 24 after Brie was spotted wearing the giant ring. We learned that the dazzling sparkler is a one-of-a-kind rose gold ring set with a rose cut diamond and diamond pavé.
Though the actress, 32, and Franco, 30, have been tight-lipped about their relationship, they've reportedly been dating since January 2012.
Meanwhile, Sudeikis also chatted a bit about his current life adventure: being a daddy!
The 39-year-old, who welcomed his first child with Olivia Wilde into the world in April 2014, shared a video of his 1-year-old towheaded son getting down to some tunes.
"This is him dancing to Bob Marley. Just standing in front of a speaker, twerking a bit I guess. I'm not sure," he laughs. "But he's a 4/20 baby listening to Bob Marley dancing his little brains out."
When Spencer asked about fatherhood, Sudeikis couldn't help but gush, "It's pretty great. I mean, you'd have to ask him. I'm having a blast, but I don't know if he likes me. He doesn't know English yet so, you know, we're getting there. He's learning. He seems very happy!"
