It's over!

Jon Hamm, 44, and frequent co-star Jennifer Westfeldt, 45, have ended their almost two-decade-long relationship, months after his rep shot down a breakup report, E! News confirmed on Monday.

"With great sadness, we have decided to separate, after 18 years of love and shared history," the former couple said in a statement to People magazine. "We will continue to be supportive of each other in every way possible moving forward."

The Mad Men alum and the actress, director and writer began dating in 1997 and were last photographed in public at the New York premiere after party for his latest acting project, the Netflix series Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp, on July 22 (pictured below).

The event took place months after Hamm completed a rehab stint.

"With the support of his longtime partner Jennifer Westfeldt, Jon Hamm recently completed treatment for his struggle with alcohol addiction," a rep for the actor had said.

Hamm and Westfeldt have worked together several times. They both starred in the films Kissing Jessica Stein and Ira & Abby, in which she also served as a writer, and Friends With Kids, which she wrote and directed.

In June, Hamm signaled more joint projects were in the works, telling E! News that he and the actress had "a couple of projects that we have percolating."

In an interview with Playboy in 2012, Hamm had talked about his and Westfeldt's personal relationship and the possibility of starting a family.

"We've seen enough of our friends, who shall obviously remain nameless, become parents, and sometimes it's hard not to think they shouldn't have had kids," he said. "I don't have a driving force to have a baby. That said, I'm in a committed relationship, and if it ever came up, I'm not ruling anything out."
