Maybe this will actually get dudes to ask for directions.

As preparations continue for The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, host Stephen Colbert has found quite the side gig to keep himself busy.

To our pleasant surprise, the late-night host wants to help guide you in the right direction…literally!

Colbert is lending his voice for driving directions on Waze, a community-based GPS navigation app, through Sept. 22.

"For years, I navigated the roadways using a compass, a sextant and the guidance offered by the stars," he wrote in a statement. "But now I can just listen to my own dulcet tones instructing me on Waze."

He added on Twitter, "As of today, I can give you driving directions through @waze! It's like I'm riding shotgun, without paying for gas."

Kevin Hart, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Neil Patrick Harris and Terry Crews have also shared their voices with the app since it first launched.

When not driving around town with the funny man, fans of Colbert are gearing up for his first week of late-night gigs on CBS. Just last week, the network announced that Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush will join George Clooney for the first show. Scarlett Johansson, Amy Schumer and Uber CEO Travis Kalanick will appear later in the week.

"I want to do jokes on Donald Trump so badly, and I have no venue! So right now I'm just dry-Trumping," Colbert told reporters earlier this summer when promoting his show. "I just hope he's taking his vitamins. Please stay healthy until I get on the air."

He added, "Don't do anything dangerous, don't ride any motorcycles because every night I light a candle and pray that he stays in the race, and I also pray that nobody puts that candle near his hair."
