Today, Telemundo talent Yarel Ramos breaks down her prep routine right before she hits the Billboard Latin Music Awards red carpet. Watch how the Mexican-American beauty gets glammed up in the above video.
"You're dealing with trying to make sure that your outfit looks good, that you don't have a hair sticking out somewhere, your teeth have to be shiny, your skin has to be bright, your hair has to be perfect," Yarel stressed. "There are a lot of little things you have to do to be confident to rock the red carpet."
Luckily, the TV veteran knows all the beauty-boosting tricks and tips to get through a big day with ease.
For instance, know the multifunctional capabilities of big curls. Use a large-barrel curling and "just work with it," she suggested. It can set the foundation for a few different looks: a ponytail, one-sided pin-up and loose locks.
When in doubt about makeup, a smoky eye is always appropriate for glamorous occasions. Just be sure to pair the dramatic look with a neutral lip and confident smile. Last but not least, get that glowy skin, the TV personality reminded us. "Because, of course, we're in Miami," she said.
The lucky girl has the opportunity to wear two dresses for the awards show. Which will she choose? "You want to be sexy and comfortable at the same time, which is a little bit hard," she said.
