There are no words to describe the emotional roller coaster Grey's Anatomy fans had to endure tonight.
Admirers of the hit ABC series had to say goodbye to one of our favorites—Dr. McDreamy aka Derek Shepherd aka Patrick Dempsey. Yep, he died on us.
Between the sudden T-bone from the big rig (although once that phone started buzzing, we knew what was coming), his flashbacks about Meredith (Ellen Pompeo), the montage of their romance and that cover of Snow Patrol's "Chasing Cars" playing in the background, Derek's death was absolutely traumatizing for viewers and seriously broke our hearts.
