Just when we thought the Billboard Music Awards couldn't get any better with the announcement that Britney Spears and Iggy Azalea would be performing during the big show, we get the news that a couple of our favorite Empire stars have also just been added to the lineup.

I can exclusively reveal that Jussie Smollett and Bryshere "Yazz" Gray (you know, Jamal and Hakeem) will be singing a medley of the Fox series' biggest hits, including "Conqueror" and "You're So Beautiful."

And they won't be alone. Joining them for their number will be British songstress Estelle, who guest starred as Delphine on Empire.

"There's no way I could possibly love music more than I already do. The Billboard Music Awards have been the epitome of celebrating some of the best of the best in music," Smollett said in a statement. "To be included as a performer on this year's celebration is a huge honor."

Gray added, "I'm still living in a dream—the success of Empire and now getting the honor to perform at the Billboard Music Awards. It's truly a blessing."

Here's hoping Cookie shows up to introduce her sons.

The Empire TV soundtrack debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts.

Also performing during the awards will be Sam Smith, Nick Jonas, John Legend, Ed Sheeran, Meghan Trainor, Kelly Clarkson, Hozier and Fall Out Boy featuring Wiz Khalifa.

Spears announced via an Instagram video yesterday that she and Azalea will perform their new single "Pretty Girls" for the first time at the awards. The song drops on May 5.

Hosted by Ludacris and Chrissy Teigen, the show will be broadcast live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on May 17 on ABC at 8 p.m.
