Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen are thinking about joining the Full House sequel series Fuller House. This is not a drill!

The twins who played Michelle Tanner for eight years on Full House from 1987-1995 told Women's Wear Daily they just found out about the new Netflix series when John Stamos announced it on Jimmy Kimmel Live. "I guess we're going to talk to the creators and see what's happening," Mary-Kate told Women's Wear Daily on Tuesday.

Mary-Kate and Ashley have both taken a step back from acting recently. Ashley's last credited acting role was in The Jerk Theory in 2009 and Mary-Kate's was the 2011 film Beastly. When Netflix announced the new show, they said they were in talks with the Olsen twins and several other cast members who did not have contracts yet, including Bob Saget, Lori Loughlin and Dave Coulier.

Ashley said she saw Saget the other day but he didn't mention the project, which has been in the works for some time. Mary-Kate said she was "shocked" Stamos didn't say anything to her.

"I'm going to call [Saget] and get his perspective," Ashley said.

Fuller House follows a widowed D.J. Tanner (Candace Cameron Bure), now an expecting mom of two boys. She asks Kimmie Gibler (Andrea Barber) and her sister Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) to move in with her to help her raise her family. Stamos will appear and serve as executive producers along with the original creators Robert L. BoyettThomas L. Miller and Jeff Franklin.

So where's the rest of the cast? Louglin appeared on Access Hollywood Live and said they're in talks to appear, the first episode is designed as a reunion show, but the deals need to be "fair."

"I think we would all like to come back if the powers that be are fair to all of us…We want to be there, we want to come back, it's up to them," she said.
