Yet another famous face is being linked to Disney's highly anticipated, live-action Beauty and the Beast!

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ewan McGregor is in talks to star as the one and only Lumiere in the upcoming flick.

The 44-year-old Scottish actor has yet to officially land the role, but we can see him playing the gentlemanly candelabra flawlessly.

The exciting possibility (let's not get too ahead of ourselves here until he's set for it) comes just a few weeks after news that Emma Thompson and Kevin Kline were joining the film. Around the same time, the release date was revealed, too: March 17, 2017.

Emma Watson will be starring in film as Belle, of course, with Dan Stevens playing the Beast/Prince.

Meanwhile, Luke Evans has been cast as Gaston, Josh Gad will play LeFou, Ian McKellen will star as Cosgworth, Audra McDonald will play Madame de la Grande Bouche, Gugu Mbatha-Raw will undoubtedly shine as Plumette and Emma Thompson will steal the show as Mrs. Potts in the upcoming Bill Condon-directed picture.

Alan Menken, who won two Academy Awards in 1991 for the animated classic version, will be scoring the reboot.

According to the press release, the live-action movie will feature "new recordings of the original songs" in addition to new music written by Menken and Sir Tim Rice.

With all the star power surrounding the movie, it's hard to believe we have to wait until 2017 to see it on the big screen!
