What a great face to see in the crowd!

Fans were delighted to hear Lee Brice sing a powerful rendition of Randy Travis' classic single "Forever and Ever, Amen." But after performing the track, Brice had a surprise of his own!

"That classic song won Song of the Year in 1987 and the man who sang it has had an amazing comeback to be with us tonight," he shared. "Ladies and gentlemen, the great Randy Travis!"

The 55-year-old was shown on the big screen as the entire stadium stood up to applaud the legend.  "It's great to have you with us," Brice shared with the crowd.

Travis was admitted to Baylor McKinney hospital on July 7, 2013 with heart trouble after visiting the ER. He was eventually transferred to another hospital where he was diagnosed with idiopathic cardiomyopathy. While being treated, however, he suffered a stroke and required surgery to relieve pressure on his brain.

While doctors predicted the singer would need months of physical therapy to recover, it appears Travis has made tremendous progress since his frightening summer.

"Thanks to all the fans and friends for your continued prayers and support as Randy continues on the road to recovery," Travis' fiancée, Mary Davis, said in a statement at the time of his hospital release.

Happy to see you doing well, Travis!
