All sisterhoods should be as strong as this one.

Amber Tamblyn was asked about, and then duly confirmed, that she, America Ferrera and Alexis Bledel are all godmothers to Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants co-star Blake Lively's baby girl James!

"You're still very close with your...co-stars and the three of you are godmothers to Blake Lively's baby--is that a fact?" Nick Lachey asked Tamblyn during an appearance this week on his VH1 show Morning Buzz Live.

"Yes, that is a fact," the actress replied, prompting much cheering and "whoos!" from the audience.

"We don't know her name but I can only imagine she's a beautiful little girl," Lachey offered.

Um, get with the program, Nick! Proud papa Ryan Reynolds finally, albeit probably rather reluctantly, confirmed last month that he and Lively had named their firstborn James.

But back to the godmother news—isn't that too sweet?

It's no secret that Lively, Tamblyn, Ferrera and Bledel have remained pals after shooting two Sisterhood films together, movies based on the bestselling YA series. All three of the other members of the Sisterhood were on hand when Lively and Reynolds tied the knot in a super-secret South Carolina ceremony in September 2012, and then everyone returned the favor whenTamblyn swapped vows with David Cross the following month. (Meanwhile, we know that Bledel at least brunched with her girls after stealing off to marry Vincent Kartheiser last summer, and surely Ferrera's marriage in 2011 was properly feted as well!)

And the latest thread in the actresses' longtime bond brings even more meaning to the friendship if indeed a third film is on the horizon.

Ferrera just said on The Meredith Vieira Show in February that another sequel hadn't been greenlighted yet, but a script was in the works.

"They're my girls, three of my best friends to this day," she gushed of her fellow stars.
