InstagramTaylor Swift is proving once again that she really is the greatest BFF in the world!
Over the weekend, the 25-year-old "Shake It Off" singer threw a birthday party for her longtime gal-pal Abigail Anderson. The Grammy winner took to Instagram Sunday to share a bevy of fun party pics from the bash. But a rockin' photo booth and props were not the highlight of the soiree.
In true T.Swift fashion, the blond beauty got Abigail's favorite all-time band to make a surprise appearance (naturally, right?)!
In an Instagram video of the surprise, Swift stands on a stage with Abigail and says to partygoers, "Her favorite all time band in high school—and still—is Dashboard Confessional." Swift then yells, "I'm just asking a random question, do we have anyone here named Chris Carrabba? Is there a Chris Carrabba in the house?!"
That's when the Dashboard Confessional frontman comes out and then serenades Abigail with an impromptu performance. In one Instagram clip, Swift and Abigail can be seen singing along with Carrabba as they all belt out the song "Hands Down" (note Paramore's Hayley Williams in the background too).
In addition to Swift's vids, Abigail also took to Instagram to share clips of the performance. "Thank you @taylorswift & all of my incredible friends & family for making my 25th birthday the most magically memorable night I've ever had. #SeeYouGuysAtFifty," Abigail wrote.
She added, "Dude. Still crying. I died. There's no way. @chriscarrabba sang me a birthday song. @taylorswift @yelyahwilliams is this real life? #DASHBOARDFOLIFE."
Talk about a night to remember!
