Pharrell and Jimmy Fallon sure look stylin' in those shiny blazers, huh?!
The Grammy-winning superstar and Tonight Show host took us back to the '80s last night performing as the fictitious R&B duo "Afro & Deziak."
Pharrell, 41, and Jimmy, 40, had no problem getting their funk on, but their lyrics were a bit unconventional. In "Girl, I'm Gonna Get You in the Mood," the fellas perhaps overestimate their confidence—unless, of course, love handles and socks with sandals are your thing!
But before Afro & Deziak would woo a lady, they had a few requests—like, "girl, can you pay my rent this month?" Or, "girl, can you plan a baby shower for my boss' daughter?"
And perhaps best of all, "Girl, can you and your friends carry a foosball table up six flights of stairs to my bud's apartment?"
Tempting, right? What lady could resist? Watch the clip above to see all of Afro & Deziak's magic for yourself!
This wasn't Pharrell's only reason for dropping by the Tonight Show, though! He chatted with Jimmy about the latest artists he's working with, including Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, Maxine Ashley and (drumroll please) Missy Elliott!
"Her mind—the way her mind works," he said in awe. "We're in the studio and just the things that she says and thinks about her video concepts—I didn't know that all those video concepts were hers. I'm so proud of her."
