According to the master of autotune, FKA Twigs and Robert Pattinson are engaged! In an interview with Vulture, the "Best Love Song" rapper revealed, albeit accidentally, that the couple are set to tie the knot. The publication asked if the singer would appear on his upcoming album, and this was his response:
"Well, the first time we even met each other, we met in the studio. Her music's changed a lot since then," he said. "But she's on tour so much, and anytime I call her, she's in a different place. And she's engaged now, so that's about to be a whole other thing."
Say what?! The reporter on the story couldn't believe it either and said to the rapper, "Wait, she's engaged? That's news to me." The rapper responded, "Yeah, to ol' Patty [Robert Pattinson]. I don't know if she wanted anybody to know that..."
Early in March an insider revealed to E! News that the Twilight actor had given her a ring but not the ring back in December. The piece of jewelry was meant to serve as a "promise ring" that made the "Video Girl" artist ecstatic, but according to our source, an engagement wasn't too far off! The insider also dished that Rob's pals thought the engagement could happen this summer, which would be fast! They first stepped out as a couple last fall.
"There is a special connection between the two of them," a source told us. "Music is a big part of the relationship, because it means to much to them. They clicked instantly and they literally have been inseparable."
The two have become increasingly hot and heavy, jet setting across the globe together and even attending the 2015 Brit Awards with each other! Twigs had been nominated for two awards but sadly didn't take home any trophies.
R.Pattz also brought Twigs home to meet his parents over the holidays, where it was said they have given their big stamp of approval. "They absolutely loved her," an insider explained to E! News. "It went so well. Rob's family has always been supportive of him and they thought they were great together."
