Your new guilty pleasure show is almost here!

Elizabeth Hurley, who stars as Queen Helena on E!'s The Royals, stopped by the Today show to chat with Matt Lauer about the exciting new series!

"We are a fictitious royal family," Hurley began. "So, even though we are the King and Queen of England, we have nothing to do with the real ones, as it happens." Lauer pressed about how the real royals might feel about this new show. "Sex, lies, scandals, are they going to be okay with this?" he asked. To which Hurley replied, "I would imagine they love it! They probably want to be like us!" Um, who wouldn't?!

Hurley confessed that when she received the call about this role, she was ecstatic! "It was as good as it gets," she explains. "My agent called and said 'there's this most unbelievable show E! have come up with, it's the royal family with you the queen and it's out there.'"

Created by Mark Schwahn, who was also the mastermind behind One Tree Hill, The Royals will have you sucked into their drama in no time.  See Elizabeth Hurley as the Queen of England this Sunday on The Royals!
