Finally, some answers.

Contrary to reports, Bobbi Kristina Brown "is not brain dead, and the Houstons and the Browns are not fighting," a source close to the family told E! News Thursday. Additionally, the source explained, "There is no 'family gathering' today that is any different from any other day since she has been in the hospital."

Still, the 21-year-old daughter of Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston remains on life support. The music scion was hospitalized Saturday after being found unconscious in her Georgia home. "Bobbi Kristina is fighting for her life and is surrounded by immediate family. As her father already stated, we are asking you to honor our request for privacy during this difficult time," the Houstons told E! News Monday. "Thank you for your prayers, well wishes, and we greatly appreciate your continued support."

Friends and family flocked to her bedside in the days that followed, and on Wednesday, Bobby released a statement via his lawyer. "We are currently investigating the events that led to the hospitalization," the New Edition singer told E! News. He also clarified that his daughter "is not and has never been married to Nick Gordon," despite that fact that Bobbi Kristina and Nick often call each other husband and wife.

"We continue to request privacy in this matter," Bobby continued. "Please allow for our family to deal with this matter and give Bobbi Kristina the love and support she needs at this time."

As the Houston and Brown families wait for an update on Bobbi Kristina's condition, friends of her late mother shared their well wishes with E! News at Kelly Price's 2nd Annual For the Love of R&B event in Hollywood Wednesday. "The first time we celebrated this event was three years ago, which was the last time we saw Whitney," Faith Evans said. "It's definitely bittersweet to be here and her not be here. But I just know the love she had for music, the love she had for R&B, the love she had and shared for artists like myself. So, I'm definitely a proud representative of R&B, but also proud person who can say I was a friend of hers." Whitney "was a pop princess," Faith said, but "she was so, like, down. She could get ghetto! That's how we bonded! I'm just sayin'! That's how we bonded because we're both ghetto girls on the low. But she was funny. She had a sense of humor. Our times together were not about the music industry. It was just chillin' and watching our kids have fun and cracking jokes. I'm of course praying for the family and everything they're going through right now and will continue to be."

Faith said she has been in touch with Bobby, "and they know that my prayers are with them."
