Dawson’s Creek Mini Reunion! Michelle Williams & Busy Philipps Are New Year's BFFs on Vacation—See Pics!

The two played Jen Lindley and Audrey Liddell on the hit WB teen drama series, which aired between 1998 and 2003

It's another Dawson's Creek reunion!

Months after former cast members James Van Der Beek and Joshua Jackson reunited, past co-stars Michelle Williams and BFF Busy Philipps got together for yet another warm New Year's holiday

Phillips shared on her Instagram page a couple of pics on Tuesday from what appears to be a tequila tasting, along with some curious captions.

"Bffs. I LOVE VACATION. #maldives #2017 #tequlia," she wrote next to one photo. (The Maldives is a country made up of 1,190 islands in the Indian Ocean. Prince William and Kate Middleton have also vacationed there.)

"One more.... #mushacay #2013 #newyears #bffs," she added. (Musha Cay is a private-island resort in the Bahamas that is owned by illusionist David Copperfield.)

Another friend of Philipps shared on her own Instagram page a photo of herself and the actress, who is wearing the same red printed top, saying, "With @busyphilipps in punta mita." (Punta Mita is a beachfront village in Mexico.)

The two actresses also vacationed together during the New Year's holiday in 2012, while Philipps was pregnant with her second daughter. She travelled to Mexico with her husband Marc Silverstein, Williams and the star's then-boyfriend, actor Jason Segel.

Williams and Philipps played Jen and Audrey on the hit WB teen drama series, which aired between 1998 and 2003. On the angst-filled show, Jen had several relationships, including with main star Dawson, played by Van Der Beek, and a fling with his male bestie Pacey, played by Jackson. Audrey, the BFF of Jen's frenemy Joey, played by Katie Holmes, later became Pacey's girlfriend.

After Dawson's Creek ended its six-season run, Williams concentrated on movies, earning three Oscar nominations, while Philipps began playing Laurie on the TBS sitcom Cougar Town, which will begin its sixth and final season on Jan. 6.

The two have reunited several times over the years. They have been spotted out and about together in Los Angeles and at major celebrity events, such as the Golden Globes and the Oscars. Also that year, Williams guest starred on Cougar Town.

 

In 2012, the two walked the red carpet at the Critics' Choice Movie Awards with Jackson's real-life longtime partner Diane Kruger.
