HBONudity is commonplace on Game of Thrones, but after Michiel Huisman stripped for Emilia Clarke's Khaleesi in the May 18 episode, the 32-year-old actor (and his butt!) became an internet sensation.
Now, Playgirl is hoping the Dutch TV star will take it off once again for an upcoming issue. "We saw the episode and we recognized this is a well-known actor who's very, very good-looking," the magazine's publisher, Vincent Stevens, tells E! News. "But we understand why, in that scene, viewers feel they may have been short-changed by only getting a brief glimpse of his butt. We thought if there was an opportunity to reach out to him, our readers would be interested. I'm a big fan of the show and I get why viewers are attracted to him: he's an actor on the rise, he's smart and he's extremely handsome."
Don't get too excited just yet. "It's in the very early stages," Stevens says of the proposed photo shoot.
"Right now, we just want to see if this is something we can make happen," the publisher said of booking Huisman. "We know there's an audience for it. Our publicity team is reaching out to him."
Speaking to Interview recently, Huisman revealed how he got cast on the hit HBO series. "I was sent a couple of scenes and asked to put myself on tape. They keep their storylines so close to their vests; at first I wasn't told what character it was," he told the magazine. "But I put myself on tape, and after that I was asked to come into the room and do it again in front of the producers and showrunners. By then I started realize what role it was—that it was not just a role, but a very, very exciting role.
