The TV wedding of the year is finally here as Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) and Robin (Cobie Smulders) are finally saying "I do" on How I Met Your Mother and we've got your first look at their highly anticipated nuptials.
In the CBS hit sitcom's penultimate episode, "The End of the Aisle," fans will finally get to see the event we've been building towards all season, but it seems the wedding is not going to go off without a hitch.
In the episode, both Robin and Barney will experience major panic attacks in the half-hour leading up their ceremony. But don't worry, it looks like they'll both end up at the altar, ready to commit to a lifetime of laser tag, suits and cigars. (Sounds legen—wait for it—dary, no?!)
And we're sure the wedding will be an emotional affair for everyone involved, but it looks like Patrice (Ellen Williams), one of Robin's bridesmaids, will be the one hogging all the tissues on the big day. Plus, how sweet is the picture of Robin Sr. (Ray Wise) walking Robin down the aisle?! Pass us the tissues STAT, Patrice!
HIMYM will say farewell after nine seasons on Monday, March 31, with a special hourlong series finale.
