Vampires, witches, zombies, oh my!

Happy Halloween, TV fans! Care for some good ol' fashioned small screen scares to go along with your candy tonight?!

In honor of the spookiest day of the year, we've compiled a list of TV's spookiest shows that we suggest you watch an episode or two from if you aren't planning on hitting a monster bash on All Hallow's Eve...that is if you can handle the chills, thrills and scares that series such as American Horror Story, The Walking Dead, The Vampire Diaries and more provide...

May we suggest a big blanket to hide under while watching and turning the lights on while checking out any of American Horror Story's three seasons? Oh, and definitely do not eat while watching Hannibal. You'll thank us later.

Tonight would also be a fitting time to check out Ravenswood, the dark and gothic Pretty Little Liars spinoff, which has aired just two episodes so far, making a catch-up session super easy. Another new spooky offering worth catching up on? The Originals (a spinoff of fellow scarefest The Vampire Diaries!), which finds supernatural beings battling it out for control of New Orleans.
