On Tuesday, Oct. 29, in London, the pop star accidentally suffered a nip slip as she attempted to get herself—and the gigantic feathered hardware atop her head—into the back of a car.
But don't get your panties in a bunch over this wardrobe malfunction (assuming you're even wearing any, that is). Mother Monster has bared her body many times before—and not just because she forgot to bother with her undergarments.
Back in August, for example, the 27-year-old "Applause" singer went completely nude to promote a Kickstarter campaign to help fund the Marina Abramovic Institute, which is "dedicated to the presentation and preservation of long durational work, including that of performance art, dance, theater, film, music, opera, and other forms that may develop in the future."
Gaga's art quite often involves nudity, and she's actually been quite comfortable in her skin from a young age.
"I definitely walked around naked a lot as a kid, and my mom used to joke with me because I would always try to freak the babysitter out and…hide behind the couch and rip all my clothes off and run around and singing The Little Mermaid or whatever, " she told Sirius XM's The Morning Mash Up.
"And now," she continued, "really what it's more about is I find it very interesting to be able to transform as much as possible with very little makeup and nude."
Makeup, clothing, lingerie—who needs 'em?!
