You thought your dating life sucked? Try being a witch!

While it seems like having powers would be pretty awesome, they are decidedly less awesome when you have to keep them a secret from the people you love in order to protect them and yourself. This is the conundrum Freya (Jenna Dewan-Tatum) finds herself in after learning that she and her sister Ingrid (Rachel Boston) are witches on Lifetime's new hit drama Witches of East End. And not only are they witches, they are cursed witches: Freya and Ingrid have died dozens of times, never reaching the age of 30.

In an exclusive sneak peek from Sunday's episode, Freya questions her future with her dashing fiancée Dash (Eric Winter) now that she knows the truth about her heritage. Luckily, her mom Joanna (Julia Ormond) is around to give her some words of wisdom...

"I'm lying to Dash every single day," Freya says. "I'm hiding this huge thing from him for the rest of our lives. How do I marry someone when I have this giant secret about who I am?"

Joanna is quick to reassure her daughter that she "is so much more than just a witch." And though Freya doubts her ability to juggle her relationship with her power, Joanna gives her the confidence boost she needs, citing an impressive knife throw we can't wait to see happen.

Of course, Freya's witchiness isn't the only obstacle for her and Dash to overcome; there's still the whole she's-attracted-to-his-dark-and-broody-brother Killian (Daniel Di Tomasso).

Witches of East End airs Sunday at 10 p.m. on Lifetime.
