The Punky Brewster star announced she was expecting on Today in August, and on Wednesday, Oct. 16, she revealed her third child's gender on The View.
During an interview with co-host Jenny McCarthy, the 37-year-old brunette unwrapped a small package and unveiled a pair of pastel blue shoes nestled inside. "I'm in a little bit of denial," Frye admitted. "I can't imagine a penis growing inside of me, so I keep saying, ‘I think we know, but I'm not sure."
Frye—mom to daughters Jagger Joseph Blue, 5, and Poet Sienna Rose, 8—always assumed her next child would be a girl. "I was so shocked because I always thought that if you have two of one sex, the statistics are that you'll have a third of the same sex," said the star, host of OWN's Home Made Simple. "So I just thought we'd have three girls. My girls still don't completely believe it."
Married since October 1998, Frye and Goldberg will welcome their baby boy in February 2014.
