Too late to apologize, indeed. Timbaland—a rapper and producer known for his collaborations with Justin Timberlake, OneRepublic, Missy Elliott and Nelly Furtado—is now a single man. The hip-hop star's wife, Monique Mosley (née Idlett) has filed for divorce after five years of marriage.

According to legal documents, Mosley is asking the 41-year-old musician to pay child support for their 5-year-old daughter and her 10-year-old child from a previous relationship. She believes this is fair given that Timbaland has "publicly and privately proclaimed this child as his own."

Timbaland—worth an estimated $80 million—is being asked to provide his ex with permanent alimony and life insurance. He's also being asked to pay for private schooling, vacations, summer camp and other expenses. Mosley has also requested that the "Way I Are" hit maker pay her legal fees, as she had to borrow money from a friend to hire an attorney.

Per TMZ, which first reported Mosley's divorce filing on Wednesday, Oct. 16, the mom of two is also asking Timbaland to begin paying alimony during the divorce proceedings. She's also requested "rehabilitative alimony" from the two-time Grammy Award winner.

Timabalnd—who's also crafted hits for Keri Hilson, Ginuwine, Madonna, Ludacris and Aaliyah—was most recently seen riding the London Underground with Jay Z and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin.
