One look at Lucy Hale, and you'd never guess that the gorgeous actress once struggled with body confidence and even admitted to having an eating disorder in the past.

And while it's safe to say that the Pretty Little Liars star and Self magazine cover girl is totally on top of her game and happier than ever now, we still have to hand it to her for opening up about difficult matters often go unspoken.

The brunette beauty spoke to E! News' Ali Fedotowsky at the AMC Family screening of her hit show at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery last night, we had to check in with her and commend her for her courageous stance on her past.

"If I can help one person, that's awesome, you know? I'm just a normal girl, and everyone has issues. I'm just happy if it helps somebody," she commented.

As for how she stays fit and healthy, Hale told us she likes to mix it up and is open to new workouts.

"I like to run and I work out with a great trainer sometimes. I recently got into hot yoga…which was, up until a few months ago, like, forbidden! I hate the heat, but having to stand still and relax has been really good for me," she shared.

Namaste!

And when she's not practicing the tree pose or downward dog in a heated room, Hale still remembers to treat herself to a delicious meal.

"I enjoy exercise, I'm lucky in that sense…but I love food just as much as I love working out!  It's kind of a good balance."

Indeed it is!
