InstagramLooks like Lindsay Lohan has some fresh new ink!
The 27-year-old actress took to Instagram Sunday to post a pic of herself getting a new tattoo, and instead of showing off the final result, she opted to share a shot of the painful process on social media.
"@seanpenncils #HomeWork #behindthescenes," LiLo captioned the black and white image where she's resting her head on a table as the tattoo artist draws on the former Mean Girls star 's upper arm.
No word yet if there's any special meaning behind the new tattoo, which the red headed beauty has yet to reveal.
The tat is hardly LiLo's first—the actress also has a small red double triangle with black script underneath on her inner right arm, as well as a line from Billy Joel's hit "I Go to Extremes" on her rib cage which reads, "Clear as a crystal, sharp as a knife I feel like I'm in the prime of my life."
The freshly-rehabbed star has been staying out of trouble since completing her court-ordered 90-day stint in treatment, and she most recently moved into a new apartment in Manhattan's SoHo district in NYC.
Lohan seems to be loving life in the Big Apple. She was one of several famous faces who recently attended a screening party of Madonna's SecretProjectRevolution film project at the Gagosian Gallery in Manhattan.
Sean Penn, Donna Karan, Anderson Cooper, Calvin Klein and Zachary Quinto were among the other celebs on hand at the Sept. 24 event, where Lohan was seen taking pictures with everyone and having a great time.
