Chris Elliott is set to guest star in an upcoming episode of Hot in Cleveland, E! News has exclusively learned, and the Saturday Night Live vet has landed one juicy role: He's Betty White's new boyfriend! Seriously!
When the fifth season of the hit comedy returns in the spring, Melanie (Valerie Bertinelli), Joy (Jane Leeves) and Victoria (Wendie Malick) are shocked when Elka takes an unexpectwed lover, the laid-back Luke, played by Elliott, in episode four. You know what we say? Do your thang, Elka!
Also known for his work in films such as There's Something About Mary, Groundhog Day and the Scary Movie franchise, Elliott recurs on How I Met Your Mother as Lily's (Alyson Hannigan) father and stars on Adult Swim's Eagleheart. Elliott has won four Emmy Awards for his work as writer on Late Night With David Letterman.
