Betty White's wax figure is traveling coast to coast. Sixteen months after the Hot in Cleveland star unveiled her lifelike creation at Madame Tussauds Hollywood, the figure will make its debut appearance at the attraction's Washington, D.C., location on Wednesday, Oct. 9.

Washington Humane Society CEO Lisa LaFontaine will introduce White's figure. The actress, of course, is a known animal lover and philanthropist. In the nation's capital from October through December, the figure will now wear a blue gown with beaded sleeves.

The 91-year-old TV star's figure was originally dressed in a hot pink tracksuit and sneakers. "The only thing that irks me is they waited until I was 90," the Golden Girls actress joked in June 2012. "A few decades ago would have been swell."

White also quipped, "I want to thank Madame Tussauds Hollywood for taking their sweet time in making my wax figure. Would it have killed them to do this 50 years ago before gravity took over?"

As it happens, White is the oldest living person to ever be honored by Madame Tussauds. Other famous wax figures at the Washington, D.C., location include Angelina Jolie, Tiger Woods, Jennifer Lopez, Stephen Colbert, Tyra Banks and Barack Obama.
