Yes, cans freaked out when the famously brunette Marie Osmond popped up on The Wendy Williams Show with blond hair.
Turns out: It was only a wig! "This is my mommy hair," she explained. "When I go out with my kids, I never go as me."
So what do her offspring think of her lighter look? "My children only know me as a blond!" she joked with the talk show host.
Following her confession she went on to share that this isn't her only wig look—Like Wendy, she has lots!
The duo then took a walk down mane memory lane, chatting about Marie's famous short, boyish hairstyle from her days on Donny & Marie.
"Suga cut my hair," she says "Then everybody who had a Donny and Marie Barbie doll cut their Barbie doll's hair!"
We wonder if Marie might go back to her shorter crop (or at least a wig version of it) now that her blond ‘do is no longer her secret style? Or perhaps she'll just change her color again—maybe, say, a fiery redhead?
