Once upon a time, way back in 2009, Miley Cyrus told MTV that her fashion mantra was "modest is the hottest."

Four years later, the Disney princess has grown up into the Queen of Twerk, and modest isn't a word in her vocabulary anymore. In fact, on Thursday, Oct. 3, the 20-year-old singer upped the ante even more when NSFW photos posted on Terry Richardson's blog exposed her nipple and showed a good amount of her vagina as well. Two prolific tweeters, Chrissy Teigen and Roseanne Barr, weighed in on Miley's latest and more provocative pics to date.

Chrissy, who tastefully got naked in hubby John Legend's "All of Me" music video, posted a link to one of the pics were Miley's red leotard appears to be cut like a thong in the front. The swimsuit model tweeted simply, "my vagina wouldn't stand for this."

As for Roseanne, well, her tweets had a much more serious tone. "YOU ARE BEING USED BY PIMPS. #listenupgirl #amandabynes was also abused," she wrote (and has since deleted).  Amanda Bynes is currently a patient at a Malibu, Calif., facility being treated for an undisclosed condition. She was initially placed on temporary psychiatric hold on July 22 after allegedly starting a small fire in a neighbor's driveway.

Roseanne went on to praise Sinead O'Connor for the open letter she wrote to the "Wrecking Ball" singer cautioning her about "allowing yourself to be pimped."  (Miley did not take to this well. "Before there was amanda bynes," she tweeted, "there was...[ a screengrab of several of Sinead's recent tweets].")

This seemed to have upset Roseanne further. "sinead cared enough to tell miley the truth & miley calls her 'crazy'," she wrote. "Just like MKULTRAfeminists are trained 2do."

The former sitcom star went on to claim crazy was a term "[used] 2 attack sane women who develop mental illness as a reaction to abuse."

Well. A little skin can sure spark a lot of controversy.
