Chloë Sevigny is one reluctant It Girl.

As the cover girl of Town & Country's November issue, the blond beauty shared her thoughts about the title that's been bestowed upon her ever since she first broke out on the scene.

""It must come up when you Google me or something," she reasoned.

It doesn't, actually, but the 38-year-old wouldn't know that because she's not at all interested in her online reputation.

"I'd rather cut off my pinkie than Google myself," she shared.

But don't take her refusal to troll Internet articles about herself to mean she doesn't care about the way people see her. In fact, the blond beauty has issues with people constantly classifying her as an It Girl.

"The whole 'It Girl' thing—I never felt that was the correct label, because I saw that as meaning 'flash in the pan,' or 'socialite,' or 'rich girl,' or 'druggie girl,' or 'model girl,' even though its origin is Clara Bow, who was the coolest thing ever."

And when it comes to her acting career, Sevigny admits she's also tired of always being called on to play the alternative girl.

"I may have hurt myself as far as being pigeonholed," she said. "It's always this '90s indie-girl thing. I can't crawl out of that, at least in Hollywood's perception of me."
