Remember last week when we suggested that Breaking Bad's series finale would break 10 million viewers? People laughed at us. They laughed at our bold statement! Well, who's laughing now, mom?!

Breaking Bad's swan song smashed ratings records with 10.3 million viewers tuning in to watch the end of Walter White's (Bryan Cranston) incredible journey. That's a 300 percent jump from last year's finale!

"Breaking Bad is simply unique," Charlie Collier, AMC president said in a statement. "It all starts with Vince Gilligan who really only ever asked for one thing–the opportunity to end the show on his own terms. That is exactly what Vince did last night and, as always, brilliantly so. Congratulations to Vince and to every single person involved in this remarkable journey. We're proud that AMC will forever be known as the birthplace and home of this iconic show and, at the same time, we tip our Heisenberg hat to the fans who made this a truly shared experience."

The Emmy-winning series nabbed 6.7 million people in the coveted 18-49 demo, and the finale set new records for the show on Twitter, with 1.24 million tweets coming in during the broadcasts on each coast.

Basically, if you were a living, breathing human last night, you were probably watching Breaking Bad or talking about it on Twitter.

While Breaking Bad was ending, Homeland was just beginning. The season-three premiere of the Showtime hit series returned with its highest-rated premiere yet with 1.9 million viewers at 9 p.m., and 2.61 million viewers for the night.

What did you think of the Breaking Bad finale? Was it everything you wanted and more?
