Carey Mulligan Switches Up Her Locks, Goes Back to Brunette

Great Gatsby star revealed her new hair color at the premiere of her new film this weekend

Carey Mulligan is back to brunette mode.

The 28-year-old Great Gatsby star stepped on the carpet of the premiere of Inside Llewyn Davis Saturday ditching her blonde locks for a new brunette hair hue.

Mulligan, who had been rocking short blond locks as of late, attended the screening with her Mumford and Sons hubby Marcus Mumford, wearing a chic, bejeweled black halter dress that showed off her midriff.

The actress stars in the Coen brothers film, which centers on a week in the life of a young singer Llewyn Davis (Oscar Isaac) as he navigates through the Greenwich folk scene in 1961.

This isn't the first time she's gone from blonde to brunette, though.

The British beauty, who happens to be a natural brunette, has switched up her hair color quite a few times over the years, last sporting the darker shade when she shot Inside Llewyn Davis in 2012.
