Miley Cyrus Cuddles Up to Handsome Guy, Blames her Butt for Following Liam Payne on Twitter

Miley Cyrus sure looks cozy snuggled up with this mystery guy!

Yeah, no mystery here: It's Cheyne Thomas! Miley tweeted the cute selfie of herself and her BFF-turned-assistant on Thursday, Sept. 27.

Cheyne, 22, has known Miley, 20, for a long time, but only began working with her in 2012. Miley explained in her recent Rolling Stone interview that just before she went to Miami to record her Bangerz album, Cheyne was working at Starbucks. "And I was like, 'F—k that," she said. "My best friend can't work at starbucks! We've been working ever since."

And it looks like these two buds get along well!

A few hours after sharing this cute pic of herself and her platonic pal, Miley tweeted to Liam—not ex-fiancé Liam Hemsworth, but Liam Payne of One Direction.

"Howd this happen Somehow I am now following @Real_Liam_Payne," she wrote. "I think the #directioners willed this to happened (Or hacked me) $$$ooo HI LIAM."

Then again, maybe it wasn't fate.  "I think I ass follow people sometimes," she mused just moments later.

But, MTV Ridiculousness host Steelo Brim noted (and Miley retweeted), "The Butt wants what the Butt wants. LOL."

Hmmm. Liam's on-off girlfriend Danielle Peazer is a professional dancer, yes, but she might want to brush up on her twerking skills just in case.
