Lena Dunham was one of many actresses who walked the red carpet for TV's biggest night, the 65th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards. The Girls star donned a teal and coral floral-print Prada gown to Sunday night's show.

The New York Times featured a recap and fashion review by Ruth La Ferla. La Ferla compared Dunham to Homeland actress Claire Danes, who wore a revealing nude Armani Privé gown, and her choice of words is generating some controversy.

"Ms. Danes proved up to the task, turning out in a Giorgio Armani tulle confection that showed off an ethereal, if slightly skeletal, frame," La Ferla began. "What Ms. Danes lacked in pulchritude, Lena Dunham of Girls supplied in abundance, wearing a coral-rose-patterned Prada gown that (somewhat sloppily) showed off her curves."

Is she being critical of both actresses' body types? Or is she simply providing a description to the reader?

You be the judge.

The duo actually appeared together on the red carpet after Danes crashed Dunham's interview with E!'s Ryan Seacrest. The fellow nominees squealed like old friends—which they are—and then Danes grabbed the mic and proceeded to interview her pal.

"Seacrest out, Danes in," Dunham quipped.
