Washington—wearing a nude Marchesa gown with floral appliques—showed off her simple diamond band as she walked the red carpet before the ceremony. The actress paired the look with Christian Louboutin heels, an Edie Parker clutch and Fred Leighton jewelry.
While the Scandal star didn't win in the Best Actress in a Drama Series category—the Emmy went to Homeland's Claire Danes—she took to the stage to present an award with Diahann Carroll, the only other black actress to star in a major television network TV series about 40 years ago.
E! News was first to report that Washington and Asomugha wed on June 24 in Hailey, Idaho.
