Look-Alike Snafu: Jennifer Hudson's Doppelgänger Tricks the Paparazzi

Hollywood stars complain about the pesky paparazzi is nothing new, but what happens when the photogs mistaken someone for a celebrity?

Well, that's exactly what happened to Jennifer Hudson and a woman who looks strikingly similar to the singer.

Paps caught who they believed to be was J.Hud and bloggers began writing about her laid-back street style.

In fact, one blog even wrote that she was "dressing to impress" and showed the woman in a gray peplum cocktail dress.

But not so fast, everyone.

Hudson herself took to Instagram to clear the air and dispel the sighting.

"Cute girl! But that ain't me! I know the poor girl was like, y r they taking pictures of me!! Wow!" she wrote on the photo-sharing site.

It appears that the photogs whose very jobs are to be good at spotting celebs got this one wrong!

So what's one dead giveaway that this isn't the Dreamgirls star?

Well, her hair for one thing. The Oscar-winning actress has been rocking a longer 'do with blunt bangs for months now unlike the lady in the snapshot.
