After being together for seven years, the couple decided to end their engagement in early 2013, a rep for the actor confirms to E! News. "Chad Michael Murray and Kenzie Dalton quietly parted ways earlier in the year," the rep said in a statement. "Please respect their privacy at this time."
Murray and Dalton met on the set of his hit show One Tree Hill and got engaged in 2006.
Earlier this week, Murray was spotted out with Australian actress Nicky Whelan, sparking rumors or a possible split from Dalton. Murray and Whelan were snapped together in a car while driving away from the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood.
Before Dalton, Murray was married to his One Tree Hill costar Sophia Bush. The duo married in April 2005 after two years of dating, only to divorce just five months after tying the knot.
It seems like Murray has since recovered from the breakup. He recently shared on Twitter, "Love you friends out there! Thanku all of u for the unbelievable support & kindness. Happy bday to anyone I've missed this year! Cheers!"
He also recently wrote, "Best friends are hard to find. Gotta handle the good & the crazy! #GregAnthony #StrongWork."
