We tapped Nina Garcia, fashion director at Marie Claire, who is certainly no stranger to the spotlight herself, for her expertise on the subject.
"I expect to see a few recurring styles at this year's Emmy Awards. Bold colors, cutouts, metallics and feminine details will be the prevalent themes amongst the best dressed," she predicted. "Statement jewelry set in platinum will also be a red carpet staple: earrings, necklaces and bracelets. Expect to see bold looks set with stunning colored gemstones that pop when set in pure white platinum."
