There's nothing we love more than a fashionable and crafty celeb. Looks like Rita Ora can claim both.

The British pop star stepped out at New York Fashion Week in what can only be descried as a giant bandana cut into a cute shorts set. Or is that two bananas? One for the top and another for the bottom? We'd love to know because we have a few old Halloween costume accessories that could be put to better use...

Hand made or not, we're surprised to see the "R.I.P." singer in so much fabric. Knowing her typical edgy ensembles, these shorts could be way shorter, and the top way smaller. We support the "shorts suit" style—especially with that crisp white blazer—but the outfit may benefit from a tighter fit all around. There's an almost over-sized sweatshirt effect on the top and boy board shorts look on the bottom, neither of which are flattering.

Maybe that's what happens when you try to make couture clothes out of cowboy accessories?
