Alec Baldwin's wife Hilaria have welcomed a daughter, their first child together, in New York City.
"We are overjoyed to announce the birth of our daughter Carmen Gabriela. She is absolutely perfect. @ABFalecbaldwin @IrelandBBaldwin," Hilaria tweeted this evening.
The two announced that they were expecting a child in March after the 28-year-old took a home pregnancy test.
The brunette beauty told Extra that the pregnancy was "a surprise, a wonderful surprise."
"It really is the most amazing thing, I'm lucky," Alec also gushed.
The new parents had plenty of time to prepare for the arrival of their baby girl. Months prior, Hilaria revealed via Twitter that they had found out the sex of their child.
"So happy about our little girl! Thank you all for the happy wishes xoxo," she tweeted at the time.
The new mama, who is a yoga instructor, previously confessed to Rachael Ray during an appearance on her show that she liked the name Massimo for her child. This was, of course, before they knew that they weren't having a little boy!
The 28-year-old also revealed that she and her hubby would most likely wait until the baby's arrival to decide upon a moniker.
"I think you actually have to look at it once it pops out and say, ‘Who are you? What is your name?'"
Just before the birth of her little one, Mrs. Baldwin had been reminiscing about her prebaby body via Instagram.
She posted a photo of herself looking fit in a bikini next to a shot of herself in her third trimester and captioned it, "#Tbt yoga play. My… How that belly can grow, grow, grow! Hopefully it shrinks back."
We're sure she'll be back in her teensy string bikini in no time!
This marks the first child for the adorable duo, and Alec's second; he's the father of 17-year-old Ireland Baldwin from his previous marriage to Kim Basinger.
