The investigation into just who sent to those ricin letters to President Barack Obama and New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg continues to get stranger.

Shannon Rogers Guess Richardson, who has had roles on The Walking Dead and Vampire Diaries, was arrested on Friday in connection with the mailing of three letters containing a form of the poison ricin to President Obama, Mayor Bloomberg, and the director of Mayors Against Illegal Guns, per NBC News.

Officials say the woman, also known as Shannon Rogers Guess, initially called the FBI to claim that her husband, Nathaniel, sent the letters.  But FBI investigators have concluded it was she, not her husband, who sent them, NBC News reports.

Authorities say Guess Richardson was arrested Friday in Arkansas on charges to be filed this afternoon.
