The Homeland star is expecting her first child with writer-director Austin Chick, People reports.
There's no word yet on whether the 33-year-old Baccarin's pregnancy will alter the plot of Homeland's third season, which is currently in production...but wouldn't that be a delicious twist?!
The Brazilian-born actress and Chick tied the knot in November 2011.
"We are solid," she happily told Britain's Daily Mail just shy of their first anniversary last year.
Noting the disarray that her Homeland marriage is in, what with Damian Lewis' Nicholas Brody being a traitor to his country and all, Baccarin admitted, "In a way, it gave me a lot to be thankful for."
And, when she's away filming for long stretches at a time, "You have to talk—a lot. Which guys love," she cracked. "You have to keep checking in, being aware of what is happening in each other's worlds, otherwise you miss things, and then it becomes very hard to go back and connect the dots. But you also need to just know that the connection is there."
It certainly seems to be there! Congrats to the parents-to-be!
