We've got a secret and we're not keeping it!

Pretty Little Liars fans are in for one special treat this October: a spin-off series! ABC Family announced Tuesday that PLL's executive producers Marlene King and Oliver Goldstick will debut a new series titled Ravenswood in the fall. Oh, and Pretty Little Liars, which returns for its fourth season on June 11, has officially been picked up for a fifth season. It's a good day to be a Liar!

So what's the spinoff about? And what connection will it have to Pretty Little Liars?

Ravenswood will center on a town close to Rosewood, Penn.,—where PLL is set—which has been suffering from a deadly curse for generations. Five strangers will find themselves connected by the fatal curse and will work together to dig into the town's mysterious and terrible history before it's too late. The series will premiere after Pretty Little Liars' annual Halloween special in October 2013.

"We can't tell you who's in it yet," King tweeted of the new series, which became a worldwide trending topic on Twitter after the announcement. "Like Rosewood, Ravenswood has dark secrets."

"Pretty Little Liars is brand-defining and demo-defining for ABC Family. We are proud to be able to grow the PLL franchise in two ways–both by adding additional seasons of the original and by extending the storytelling into a spin-off. Ravenswood will become another ‘must-tweet-TV' series for us," Michael Riley, President of ABC Family, said if a statement.
