The American Idol alum, who announced his wife's pregnancy in January after getting into a bad car accident, revealed that the couple is expecting a baby boy.
"I'm very excited," Allen told Hollywire.com. "I've always wanted to be a dad...so, it's coming in July."
"My wife has already started buying him some clothes like me…he does have some fedoras," he added.
Kris and Katy, who were high school sweethearts, tied the knot in September 2008.
