Reese Witherspoon is becoming something of a pregnancy MVP sidekick these days.
First, Brian Austin Green and Megan Fox credited the Walk the Line star with helping to keep their baby birth a secret when Witherspoon's own baby delivery overshadowed the couple's.
Now, Michael Bublé—whose wife, Luisana Lopilato, is expecting their first child—revealed that it was Witherspoon whom he first told about his ladylove's pregnancy.
Baby talk, indeed!
Bublé, who recently collaborated with Witherspoon on a song for his new album, cops to Parade magazine that he slipped the news to his pal during a phone call about their duet, which is a cover of Frank Sinatra and Nancy Sinatra's "Something Stupid."
"I had just found out [we were expecting]," he says. "It was the greatest day of my life, so I just said, 'You know, I'm having a baby!' And Reese was so sweet about it and excited for me"
Turns out, the 36-year-old actress was one of the first people to be privy to the ecstatic news.
"It was nice for us to bond that way," he recalls. "I told her before anyone else in the world knew, even members of my own family!"
Last week, the 37-year-old Bublé spilled the beans that he and Lopilato, 25, are expecting a baby boy.
Here's hoping Witherspoon sticks around to work on a follow-up duet with the crooner—a lullaby, perhaps?
